The Watchtower organization has a doctrine known as theocratic war strategy. Essentially this teaching informs Jehovah’s Witnesses that when the Watchtower organization's interest is threatened it is then okay to deceive whoever or whatever is perceived as the threat.
Witnesses are very familiar with the biblical teaching about lying and liars. Accordingly, part of Watchtower’s theocratic war strategy doctrine tells Jehovah's Witnesses that it is not lying to intentionally express a falsehood to someone perceived as a threat to Watchtower or its initiatives.
Jesus taught against his followers hiding what they believe and would teach.[1]

So what does Watchtower do with its theocratic war strategy teaching?[2]
Though this teaching of Watchtower remains current, Watchtower apparently loathes to put it out in the open so its spiritual light can shine brightly.
