Yes, you read it correctly. The image above shows two of more than one-thousand children baptized during the 1941 assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses organized and presented by the Watchtower organization.
A mere four years after their baptism these little girls would be told it was sinful to accept transfusion of donor blood to save their life.
