Watchtower doctrine has it that members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses community who no longer embrace all the unique beliefs taught by the Watchtower organization, and take it upon themselves to teach some dissenting view, are apostates who should be disfellowshipped (excommunicated) despite maintaining belief in God, the Bible and Jesus Christ.[ 1]
Action of top leadership within the Watchtower organization offers a litmus test to measure whether an individual is an apostate dissident.
Watchtower says:

The quote above comes from Paul Wade. Wade is Director of the Department of Hospital Information Services for Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Britain.
Based on the above action it is safe to say that Lee Elder[2-3] is not an apostate. Accordingly, I encourage Jehovah’s Witnesses to read the work of Lee Elder. His organization is Associated Jehovah’s Witnesses for Reform on Blood.

2. Lee Elder is Director of Associated Jehovah’s Witnesses for Reform on Blood. This organization stands against Watchtower’s blood doctrine. Lee Elder embraces a view that each member of the Jehovah’s Witness community should be left alone to either accept or refuse medicinal use of donor blood and blood products without any potential of these members having to face the dreadful power of Watchtower appointed elders invoking the organization’s policy of organized communal shunning.
