Below is excerpts from the deposition of an elder who heard confession of child molestation and got subsequent advice from the Watchtower organization on how to proceed.[1] It turned out there was information of another incident aside from that confessed. How did the Watchtower appointed elders proceed after getting advice from Watchtower?

About calling the police:

Admissions in this deposition demonstrate how utterly incompetent are Watchtower appointed elders for dealing with the crime of sexual child molestation, and this despite having communication directly with the Watchtower organization on the matter.

Children in this elder’s congregation were left completely unprotected from a known pedophile.
