As of November 1995 Watchtower’s Governing Body quit “the Creator’s promise” of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away. [4]
If God takes no pleasure in a person who quits on a promise then what pleasure can God take in a person who quits a promise?
The Bible contains no record where the early Christian Governing Body ever enforced a teaching under pain of shunning as God’s will that it later on had to quit on because it was false, or of quitting any promise of God.
