Child abuse and molestation are crimes.
Under Watchtower doctrine the religion’s leaders are directed to investigate and met out discipline to members who’ve engaged in sexual child molestation. Unfortunately this doctrine fails to require its leaders to inform congregants when such a monster is a member of the local congregation. This leaves children vulnerable, and parents are not armed with knowledge of a known danger lurking right among them.
The religion also compels parents to refuse essential blood transfusion for their children even when it endangers a child’s life and/or health. Children have died as a result. Secular authorities have often assumed legal custody of children among this religion in order to protect their health and life because of this parental neglect.
The following articles document these issues and more.
