The Watchtower organization enforces a policy onto the community of Jehovah’s Witnesses that prohibits transfusion of whole blood and certain blood products.

Parents who conscientiously choose to accept these blood products to save the life of their child are subject to the organization’s harsh shunning policy.[1]
